One of Unisonya's primary abilities is being able to hear the ""song of the universe"" — and the songs and sounds of everything that constitute a part of it. Because of powercap and also [REDACTED REASONS], it doesn't always work!

What can it tell her? She might be able to discern species; power level; very very basic overall nature; whether something or somebody is young, old, or anywhere in between! (NOTE: it isn't a mood ring! it can grow and develop over time as a character moves through their arc, but it isn't affected by emotions in the short term).

If you have A Cool Theme you associate with your character (or, more generally, types of musical instruments or a genre of music) please feel free to link to it or describe it.

What do I need from you? Can she sense anything at all? If YES, what? Does she only get to hear their theme music with no further context, or can she discern actual information? It doesn't have to be all or nothing — you're welcome to say she can discern their species but not their nature, etc.

I LOVE stuff like this! Here's what Unisonya will be able to discern for my two ladies:


YANFEI:

• has a bright and lively theme song filled with the instruments of her homeland of Liyue


• half human, half illuminated beast


• fully an adult, but also somehow seems very, very young at the same time


• has a fiery power that feels divine in origin, somehow...

MARIANNE:

• her theme music is soft and melancholy, although it builds in confidence and hopefulness as it plays on


• sometimes Unisonya may hear faint echos of a louder, much more bombastic song - this is her tie to her "found family" back home that's just completed a war against other nations, a shadow organization of ancient technology and forbidden magic, and a self-appointed demigod


• young adult


• human, although there's also a divine and terrible power within her blood
