[ It's been two days since Miya fell from the sky into this strange new world, and she … she's so hungry.
She's had some things to eat, to be fair. The park she's claimed as her territory is full of squirrels and rats; easy pickings for an accomplished hunter. But they're so tiny. So is she right now — technically, having shrunk herself down to the same size as aforementioned squirrels — but having a magically smaller body doesn't mean having a magically smaller appetite. She's tried rummaging through trash cans as well, but she's not a fan of half-rotten mush, okay. Even a hungry dragon can have standards.
So when she spots the man on the bench one mild, sunny day, and more importantly spots the nice, fresh, delicious-smelling sandwich he keeps setting aside in favour of his phone, she can't resist. She creeps over, step by step, hoping he stays distracted long enough for her to grab it and run. So close … so, so close …
…! Now's her chance! She stretches out her snoot and chomps- ]
